Hello, my name is Lisa Roberts and it is a pleasure to serve as the weekday director of Hand-in-Hand Preschool. I have held this position since 1994 and absolutely love my role in the lives of so many little ones.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree in 1986 and my Master of Education degree in 1988 from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. I taught 3rd grade for 5 years before moving to Tyler in 1992. I have also taught various ages of children in churches from preschool to currently teaching middle school girls.
My husband, Paul, and I have 3 sons. Our oldest, Josh, is in graduate school and also works part time at First Baptist Church. Kyle is a student at Texas A&M and our youngest, Jake, is in middle school.
In my spare time, I love to play Mah Jongg and go out to see good movies with my friends. My all-time favorite movies are The Blind Side and The Sound of Music.
