Hi! My name is Elizabeth Smith and I am so excited to be a part of life here at FBC South.

I graduated from Tarleton State University in 2006 with a degree in Public Relations and Marketing. After graduation, I lived in Northern Colorado for a year and a half before moving back to Texas and started work at Pine Cove.

I have been in Tyler for almost 5 years now and I really like this area! The only things that are missing are my family and mountains.  I love to spend time with my family and I do so any chance I get.  And the mountains, well,  if we could grow a few mountains here in Tyler, I would be one very happy girl.

If you spend too much time with me you'll learn very quickly that there are a few things that I enjoy: cold weather, hiking, rock climbing, and books, but books are my favorite.  I LOVE to read.  I think my mom encouraged my reading habit when I was younger because it was the only time I stopped talking! I will read almost anything except the phone book and the dictionary.  Hand me a book and I'll do everything in my power to not sit down right there and start it. But I make no promises.

I have a huge passion for fostering/adoption and I love that our church has such a heart for it as well.

On any given Sunday, you'll find me running around making sure everything is ready for the morning. I'm the girl with red hair and glasses, as I run by grab my arm and say hi.

Let me know if you need anything, my email is esmith@fbctyler.org.

Have a fantastic day!

Favorite Drink? Unsweet Tea with Lemon

Greatest Band Ever? Not really a band but Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra or Michael Buble

Favorite Food? Dill pickles!

Favorite Pastimes? Reading, dance parties with my favorite kids, cleaning my house

Biggest indulgence? Staying up until the wee hours of the morning to finish a book (even if I have to be up early the next day)
