Adults
There are two, core ways for adults to get plugged in at First Baptist South: Sunday School Classes and Small Groups.
Our adult Sunday School classes are generally divided by age group, but feel free to attend any class you desire. We typically choose popular bible studies, often with video or print companion guides, which change topic every month or two to keep us engaged and growing.
We do have a new Parents of Teens class so that the parents are being taught the same lesson as the youth.
In 2011, we began having as many people as possible involved in Small Groups, which meet in peoples' homes and at the church. Some were temporary and others have become permanent. These small groups are much more intimate gatherings where we can get to know each other outside of the "church environment". Many feel that this is where true discipleship and friendships develop and mature.
