We got and at ‘em pretty early today. We had a pretty good train ride to Brooklyn. We arrived at the Park Slope Community Church just in time for Bible Study. We had to wait for the Russian speaking congregation to finish before we got into the Sanctuary. The choir sang a couple of songs in the service and did a really good job. After worship and lunch, the kids went in family groups to distribute invitations to the block party coming up this Friday evening.

We had another short train ride to the Greater Restoration Baptist Church where we had an amazing evening. It all started with Pastor Ken Bogan. Ken is a Tyler native and all of his extended family still lives there. Imagine that, finding a good ole Texas boy in the heart of Brooklyn! AND, this Pastor can sing too! Also we enjoyed the amazing Cummings family. This group had a 13 year old and a 9 year old that were wonderful.

Our concert went very well and was well-received. The fellowship was special. We really felt a kinship with these folks. In fact, I invited Pastor Ken to share with us about his work the next time he is in Tyler and encouraged the Cummings family to come along too!

We had supper in Grand Central Station and are in the hotel getting ready for family groups and beddy bye. It was another great day on choir tour. Thanks, church family for believing in us and supporting us. We love you!
