Mission Statement: Provide opportunities for pre-teens to grow in understanding, in faith, and in practice in their relationship with Christ.
 
 
 
          *      Build healthy, strong relationships within their own grade.
     
          *       Provide a “bridge” year for pre-teens.

          *      Provide social activities on an age appropriate level and in a “socially safe” environment for pre-teens.

          *      Provide opportunities for pre-teens to begin leading in service and ministry.

          *      Our specific goals for the 2009-10 6th grade ministry are:

                         ● Diving into Bible Study
 
                         ● Developing Relationships

                         ● Discovering Strengths

                         ● Demonstrating God’s Love

                         ● Decision Making

                         ● Daring to Stand Firm
 
Fall Schedule 
 
Sunday Morning Bible Study – (Both Campuses)
         A class just for 6th graders using “Everything You Need   
               To Know To Be a Teenager”
 
          Downtown - Room 315
 
          South Campus - Room 211
 
 Sunday Nights – (South Campus)
         True North Choir with Cindy Dempsey (this will be 5th and 6th)
         6th Grade Bible Study with Lisa Keeling
 
Wednesday Nights   
         6th Graders will be leaders and learners in RA’s and GA’s (both campuses)
 
         6th Grade Bible Study (Downtown only)     6:00 p.m.
