Day 3
Tired. We’re all tired. But, it’s the good kind of tired where you realize that you have done something worthwhile. It’s that kind of tired you feel after you have spent the day in the yard and you are all hot and sweaty, but your yard looks good. That kind of tired. Now, put that on steroids and you might have some idea of how we all feel tonight. The kids, simply put, were awesome today. They sang three concerts, one in Mississippi and two in Louisiana and did all without a single complaint. All three were really good, but the concert tonight at the New Orleans Mission stands out. I know we were a blessing to the people there, but they were certainly a blessing to us as well. They gave us a lot of feedback and it’s always nice for the kids to hear that they are appreciated! One of the men at the Mission told Cindy that “I know good music, and I give the kids 4 thumbs up!” So do I.
Have a look at the pictures. Meanwhile, keep us in your prayers. Three more concerts tomorrow. Three more opportunities to do ministry. Tired? Yep. But it’s the good kind of tired!!!
