Administrative Assistant to the Pastor
I serve as the Administrative Assistant to the Senior Pastor here at First Baptist Church. I help with administrative duties and step in wherever I’m needed to support our ministry.
I grew up in a Christian home and gave my heart to Jesus in third grade. On Valentine’s Day! I moved to Tyler years ago for a job, and not long after, I found my church home at First Baptist Church. That was over 33 years ago, and I’ve loved the friendships and fellowship I’ve found here ever since.
My husband, Mike, and I have been married for almost 49 years. We have a daughter, a son, and four wonderful grandchildren who bring so much joy to our lives. When I’m not at church, you can usually find me quilting, cooking, or enjoying a cup of HEB Houston coffee with coconut creamer.
My hope for First Baptist Church is that we continue to be a welcoming, Christ-centered congregation; serving as the hands and feet of Jesus in Tyler and around the world.
