Administrative Assistant to Recreation
I serve as the Administrative Assistant for the Recreation Center here at First Baptist Church Tyler. I help with secretarial work, provide customer service, and do my best to keep the Starters program running smoothly.
I came to faith in Jesus as a child while attending a small church in West Point, Georgia. One Sunday night, I felt the incredible love of God and made the decision to go forward and accept Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. God has been so good to me ever since!
I was born in Langdale, Alabama, and eventually came to Tyler because my brothers brought us here. My niece actually told me about the job at First Baptist Church, and I’m so glad she did!
I’ve been married to a wonderful man for 52 years, and together we have three great kids. Two daughters and a son, as well as four beautiful granddaughters who are the best blessing. I love spending time with my family, shopping, and cooking (especially anything with chicken).
My hope for First Baptist Church Tyler is that we continue to grow and show God’s love to those who don’t yet know Him.
