Andrew Hassell
Financial Administrator
I serve as the Financial Administrator here at First Baptist Church. I’m responsible for managing budgets, overseeing contributions and expenses, and helping ensure that we’re good stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us.
I grew up in a Christian home with two wonderful parents who modeled faith and encouraged me to be involved in church. It was during a children’s summer camp at First Baptist Church Tyler that I came to know Jesus personally and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior.
My wife, Alyssa, and I both grew up in Tyler and even went to Ouachita Baptist University together. After spending eight years in Frisco, we moved back to Tyler to be closer to family and First Baptist Church quickly felt like home again. We’ve been married for 11 years and have two amazing kids, Lily and James.
When I’m not working, I enjoy playing golf, spending time with my family, watching movies, and cheering on the Cowboys (even when they test my faith and patience).
I’m excited to see how God continues to grow our church and use FBC to make a lasting impact in Tyler and around the world.
