Our Team

I serve as the Minister of Connections here at First Baptist Church Tyler. My role focuses on helping people find their place in our church family, welcoming guests, guiding them through next steps, and helping them connect, grow, and serve within the body of Christ. I love that I get to blend hospitality, leadership, and creativity to help people discover belonging and purpose in God’s church.

I came to know Jesus at the age of five, thanks to the faithful guidance of my parents, who helped me understand that I was a sinner in need of a Savior. Since then, I’ve been learning what it means to walk daily with Him as both my Lord and my Savior.

I was born in Gainesville, Florida, and spent part of my childhood in the Philippines, where my parents served as missionaries. When we returned to the States, we landed in Tyler, which quickly became home. 

Over the years, God has led me through several ministry roles. From serving in college and student ministry at Green Acres, First Baptist Church Broken Arrow, South Spring Baptist to now serving at First Baptist Church Tyler. My wife Caroline and I were married in 2024 and we love spending time outdoors, hiking, traveling, trying new foods, and exploring new places with our golden retriever, Annie.

My hope for First Baptist Church is that we’ll continue to be a church that equips people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus; impacting our city and the world with His love.
