Administrative Assistant to Finance
I serve as the Finance Assistant here at FBC. I like to joke that my job is “counting beans,” but really, I help serve the church by documenting and organizing financial information related to contributions, gifts, and expenses.
I don’t remember a time before knowing Jesus. I met Him as a young child going to church with my family, and He’s continued to grow and deepen my faith through every stage of life.
I was born in Fort Polk, Louisiana, but Tyler has become home for our family. My husband is from here, and after we went from a family of three to a family of five, a perfectly timed job opening brought us closer to our loved ones. We started attending First Baptist Church in 2022, first drawn in by the organ and stained-glass windows but it’s the people who truly made us stay.
I love reading, walking, and crocheting cozy blankets, often with a Likewise coconut cold brew in hand during the summer or a hot gingerbread latte in the winter.
My hope is that God continues to shape us into people who know and love Him as deeply as He knows and loves each of us.
