Chloe Zimmerman
Intern for Music & Worship
I serve as a Worship Intern here at First Baptist Church Tyler. I help with responsibilities in our Music Ministry, including preparing the stage for worship, organizing music, creating slides, and assisting with both digital and physical music resources for our choirs and orchestra. I also have the privilege of working alongside our Adult, Student, and Children’s choirs.
I accepted Christ when I was seven years old during Vacation Bible School after hearing the story of Jesus in a way that made His sacrifice feel deeply personal. That same day, I prayed with my mom and gave my life to Him.
I was born and raised in Tyler and chose to stay here for college because I love the community God has given me. I started attending First Baptist Church after going to Student Camp the summer before my junior year of high school, where I formed meaningful friendships and strongly sensed the Lord leading me to join.
My hobbies include singing, baking, dancing, and crafting. My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46:10, which reminds me to slow down and make time to be still with the Lord. I am blessed to attend church with many members of my family who have shaped my faith since I was young.
My hope is to see God continue to move in our community and to see our congregation grow as a family that encourages one another toward Christ.
